Peptidci

Peptitler (Grekçe: πεπτίδια; “önemsiz sindirilebilirler”) teşhismlanmış bir düzende, α-amino asitlerin birbirine bentlanmasıyla oluşan gücük polimerlerdir.[1] Bir amino hamız lakırtııntısı ile öbürü arasındaki bağ bir “amit bağ” yahut peptit bağı olarak bilinir.[1]

Tetrapeptit (Oligopeptit)
Proteinler polipeptit molekülleridir (yahut çok skorda polipeptit ast birimi barındırır). Asıl fark peptitlerin gücük, polipeptitlerin/proteinlerin ise uzun olmasıdır.[1]

Protein sentezi esnasında her amino hamız, gayrı amino asite geceli gündüzlü, kırılmayan bir polimer olan polipeptid zincirleriyle bentlanır. Polipeptid konstrüksiyonsına taşlıklan amino asitlerin her biri konstrüksiyonya peptid bentlarıyla bentlanır. Peptid bağının oluşumu esnasında amino asitlerden birinin amino grubu ile diğerinin karboksil grubu, aradan bir akarsu çıkması sonucu birleşirler.[1]

Yaklaşık bir polipeptit zinciri 450 amino asitten oluşur.[1] Malum en uzun polipeptit, kestirmece 27,000 amino asitten oluşan, kas dokusunda bulunan “titin”dir. Polipeptid zincirine taşlıklan amino asitlere lakırtııntı (residue) adı verilir.[1] Zincirin bir ucundaki lakırtııntı, bağ yapmamış, erkin amino grubu barındırır ve N ucu olarak adlandırılır. Aynı şekilde zincirin gayrı ucundaki erkin α-karboksil grubu olan lakırtııntıya C ucu adı verilir.
